Particular experience is with the support mechanisms for filter membranes, from brittle inorganic membrane to polymeric hollow fibres. One major development on the water filtration project was for an injection moulded end cap for 8 inch diameter hollow fibre bundles that also provided the flow paths between membrane for the filtered and retentive water. On a thirty six module skid this design gave significantly reduced hydraulic losses.
